Chem-Dry is Your Trusted Partner in Removing Allergens and Bacteria From The Workplace
Sneezing, nasal congestion, and red, itchy eyes due to allergies can cause you to lose focus. It’s no wonder that allergies can have a significant effect on productivity in the workplace. Missed work and reduced productivity due to allergies cost companies millions of dollars each year.
Typical allergens that cause allergy attacks, such as dust mites, pet dander, and pollen, are not just found in homes; they make their way into workplaces on employees’ and customers’ shoes and clothing. Carpets, as well as area rugs, upholstered furniture, and even cubicle walls, act as giant air filters, trapping allergens and bacteria and keeping them out of the air we breathe at work. But, just like any air filter, they become full over time and must be properly cleaned to remain most effective at trapping particulates as they settle from the air.
You can ensure healthier indoor air in your workplace for your employees and customers by keeping your carpets clean and in good condition through regular vacuuming and having your carpets, rugs, upholstery and cubicle walls professionally cleaned every 3 – 4 months to rid your workspace of common allergens and bacteria.
Tested and Proven Superior Results
Removing Allergens from the Workplace
The fact is that not every professional carpet and upholstery cleaner is alike. To find out how big an impact a Chem-Dry cleaning can have on indoor air quality and the health of everyone inside, we thought it would be helpful to measure how effective our cleaning process is in eliminating unhealthy and unwanted elements from indoor spaces. So we commissioned a leading independent air quality laboratory to conduct a study using Chem-Dry’s Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE) process in multiple homes. The lab found that Chem-Dry removes an average of 98.1% of common allergens from the carpets and upholstery we clean. The common allergens we tested were cat and dog dander and dust mite allergen. In your quest to provide a workplace that is a happier, cleaner environment for you, your employees, and your customers, Chem-Dry gives you superior results.
Removing Bacteria, Improving Indoor Air Quality in the Workplace
Indoor air quality in the workplace can profoundly affect the health, comfort, and productivity of your employees. Office buildings are often a source of health complaints about many workers and it’s no wonder, considering that carpet can harbour up to 200,000 bacteria per square inch. As the bacteria build up in the carpets and other soft surfaces in your workplace, it gets stirred up and circulates in the air that your employees and customers are breathing unless you properly clean them. A Chem-Dry carpet cleaning is not only effective at removing the bacteria from the carpets we clean, but it also improves the air quality in your work environment. The same leading independent air quality laboratory found that, when adding sanitiser to our HCE carpet cleaning process, we removed an average of 89% of the bacteria in the air and 82.3% of the bacteria from carpets.
Have Any Tile or Stone Surfaces in the Workplace?
Tile and Stone surfaces are common in many workplaces today. We commissioned a leading independent laboratory to test the effectiveness of our Tile, Stone and Grout cleaning process. Based on several tests on tile surfaces, the study found that our Tile, Stone, and Grout cleaning process used in conjunction with a sanitiser removes an average of 98.6% of bacteria from these surfaces.
Granite Countertop Renewal
Many modern workplaces today feature beautiful granite countertops in commonly used areas. An independent laboratory found that our Granite Countertop Renewal process used along with a sanitiser removes an average of 98.4% of bacteria from granite countertops.
At Chem-Dry, we want you to breathe easier about the healthfulness of your business for your employees and your customers. A Chem-Dry carpet cleaning – as well as our cleaning of your upholstery, cubicles, tile, and stone, and granite countertops – can help remove the allergens and bacteria hiding in your workplace and improve your indoor air quality, helping to keep your people healthy and your productivity at the highest level.
