7 steps to becoming a Chem-Dry Franchisee

Step 1: Contact us to check that we have a franchise available in your area. With the incredible success of Chem-Dry most of Australia is sold out. By contacting us we can tell you quickly what is available in your area before you go any further.

Step 2: Do your research. Investigate Chem-Dry fully and make sure that we are the right fit for you. Read all the information on this website and request an information pack. We can send you out "on the job" with a franchisee so you can speak to a franchise owner. This also gives you the opportunity to see how you enjoy the work and Chem-Dry lifestyle.

Step 3: Prepare your finances. Chem-Dry is one of the most affordable franchises around. We offer different packages depending on what you can afford. One thing every franchisee needs is a van. It does not have to be new but it does have to be in good condition. We do not stipulate any particular brand of van as we know that people have different preferences when it comes to their vehicles and car companies run different specials at different times. So you are free to buy the van you are most comfortable with. The only stipulation we have on the van is that it must be white and sign written with the Chem-Dry logo.

Step 4: Meet with our Franchise Sales Manager. This is important as we also want to be sure that you are the right fit for Chem-Dry. If you live outside of Sydney a meeting can be arranged in two ways. The first way is that we will come and see you in your home state. The Franchise Sales Manager regularly attends the major capital cities. It's just a matter of booking in a time. The second way is that we will pay for your flight to our head office in Sydney to meet the crew and see our office/warehouse set up. There is no obligation with either way. We have found that it often costs the same whether we come to you or you come to us. So it's up to you.

Step 5: Pay a deposit and review and sign the contract. The deposit holds your franchise. We rarely have any concerns over the contract as it is the same contract for all 200 franchisees. Of course, we still encourage you to get professional advice from your solicitor before signing. Once you have signed then you send the contracts back to our office.

Step 6: Pay the franchise balance and receive your kit. We will send your Franchise kit free of charge anywhere in Australia. Your franchise fee pays for all the equipment and products you need to operate your franchise straight away. Over time you will start to order the products you need to replenish your stock.

Step 7: Attend a new franchise 3 day training seminar at our Head Office in Sydney and meet your new business coach. The training and business coaching is free of charge. Future training seminars will be held in your home state.
