Low Start Up Franchise Costs

We challenge anyone to find a more cost effective franchise that has a well recognized worldwide brand than Chem-Dry. We have always kept our start up franchise costs low as we are not interested in putting a huge financial burden on a new business owner. We understand that by helping them keep their overheads low they will be able to become a successful franchise that will be with us for years.

No Rent Or Lease On a Shopfront

Many franchises that you can buy require you to rent a shop front. This means entering a lease with a landlord separate to your franchisor. If something goes wrong with that franchise you still have to honour your lease with the landlord. Many people have gotten stung by being locked into a 3-5 year shop lease.

No Fit Out Costs

Other franchises that you buy can expect you to fit out a shop or office location. These can costs thousands of dollars. This is not needed with Chem-Dry.

Your Choice Of Vehicle (New Or Second Hand)

Other franchises make you purchase or lease a particular vehicle to match their fleet. With Chem-Dry we know that people have varying preferences when it comes to vehicles. Plus, some models can be a lot cheaper than others. At Chem-Dry we have only 3 rules in relation to your vehicle. 1. It must be white. 2. It must have the Chem-Dry sign writing on it (a cost of approx $1100) and 3. It must be in good nic. That means you can also start out with a second hand vehicle as long as it looks professional.

90 Day Get Out "No Questions Asked" Clause

Most franchisors require a new franchisee to sign a Franchise License Agreement for 5 years. If during those 5 years the franchisee would like to exit for whatever reason they must pay out the rest of the 5 years in terms of royalty and any other requirements. At Chem-Dry we also have a 5 year agreement but our franchisees can exit at anytime by just giving us 90 days notice.
