Expansion
One of the benefits with being your own boss with Chem-Dry, is that you have the freedom to grow your business to a multiple van operation. If you decide to expand you can run extra vans out of the same franchise area for the same low cost royalty. You can also expand into other available franchise areas adjoining your area. Once you are a franchisee the cost of this is only $5000 for the second area and a second royalty.
Everyone are at different stages of their lives and have different goals and dreams. Some want to work the one van, make a good living and have lots of flexibility in their lives and a nice lifestyle. Others want to build up their business by adding as many vans as they can so that they can manage employees to do the cleaning. At Chem-Dry the choice is yours. Franchise Areas
Our franchise areas were developed to make sure there is proper market penetration not saturation. Chem-Dry is a mobile business so we made sure that franchisees have a large area to service. Across the globe and for over 30 years Chem-Dry have lived by the formula of 1 franchise for every 60,000 people. However, instead of marking off a few suburbs of 60,000 and making that one area, Chem-Dry marks of an area of say 30 suburbs of $300,000 people and allow 5 franchises to operate in that area. This ensures that those franchises in that area have a good cross section of richer suburbs and poorer suburbs, domestic and commercial opportunities. So, in most cases you will share your area with other franchises but the number of franchises is capped by the population
